Coupons for the Community
Re: Backpack Drive
On behalf of the Missionaries of God-NJ, Joann and I would like to thank you, Jake, Stella and all the people from the Coupons for the Community for yesterday’s backpack drive. It was awesome and truly a blessing to the people in the community. The 124 backpacks, the food, clothes and especially the haircuts were greatly appreciated by all. God is using us all as a vessel to reach those that are less fortunate than us. The spirit you all showed yesterday I know was pleasing in the eyes of the Lord. We thank you all from our heart for what you have done. God wants us all to be on one accord to help those that are in need, and it showed in yesterday’s backpack giveaway. You have some wonderful people in your organization and I pray that you all will continue to do what the Lord has called you all to do.
Thank you all again for the wonderful works you and your organization has done. We appreciate you all and the community does too.

On August 24, 2013 Coupons for the Community in conjunction with Missionaries of God in Dover, NJ held a special event. Brand new backpacks filled with school supplies were given out to 124 children. Along with the backpack, attendees enjoyed lunch. Free haircuts were provided to as many children and adults as time allowed.
Coupons for the Community volunteers shopped for the backpacks and schools supplies throughout the summer, and worked with Missionaries of God to bring them to the people who needed them most.
