Use your Hilton HHonors Points for a Good Cause

DONATE POINTS

Use your Hilton HHonors Points for a good cause.

For every HHonors Point you donate, Hilton HHonors will make an equivalent cash donation on your behalf to the organization and/or cause of your choice. Helping our HHonors members strengthen the communities where they live, work and travel makes the world a better place for all of us to discover and explore.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

  1. Visit PointWorthy.com. This partner unlocks millions of dollars of value in unused and donated loyalty points for various charities.
  2. Create a PointWorthy account and then link it to your Hilton HHonors account.
  3. Choose your favorite cause from thousands of charitable organizations.
  4. Make a donation using your HHonors Points! Then Hilton HHonors will make an equivalent cash donation to your organization of choice. Donations start at 4,000 Points, which equates to a cash value of $10 USD.

Suzanne:

Many thanks for connecting us with Local Share — so happy to receive the wonderful corn today!!!! You have made so many great connections for the Community Soup Kitchen, which translates into us helping so many of our guests.

I just wanted to share with you a story of those you are helping…..just the other day, a woman with 4 children came to us for food and help.  Her husband died tragically 8 months ago in a car accident. She was working, and living in a temporary hotel, and needed help.  She was struggling to pay her bills and keep food on the table.  We provided them with food and the help they needed to apply for food stamps and rental assistance.  Although things are still difficult for her, she and her family are healing and trying to move forward.  And we will continue to help them along the way.

Thank you for helping us be there for those who need help!

Regards,
Marla Drury

Harvest Festival & Music Benefit

Dear Friends

Please join us in September for an event in warmer weather than the usual January deep freeze!  No need to wear your hiking boots or put on your cold weather gear.  Just bring something to sit on and be ready to relax and enjoy awesome music in beautiful Basking Ridge!

For the second year, Cam and I are excited about the opportunity to participate in a great event to benefit The Community Soup Kitchen of Morristown and Coupons for the Community

HarvestFestival2014The Harvest Festival will include incredible music, free ice cream and outside time with friends and family!

There is no cost, although we are hoping you will bring canned goods or other non-perishable food items that we can share with the 2 organizations that are hosting the evening.

Last year our local Crane Farm on South Maple Avenue, donated a large amount of fresh produce from their garden to share with the Community Soup Kitchen.  Also, a big thanks to Oak Street School who donated fresh vegetables from the school’s garden for the Soup Kitchen as well!

Please see the attached flier for specific needs from The Community Soup Kitchen.

In addition to supporting a worthy cause, we expect this to be a really fun party and we hope you will reserve this evening on your calendar. Bring a fold up chair or blanket to sit on while enjoying the music. You can buy food from one of the local restaurants or bring your own picnic!

We look forward to seeing you in downtown Basking Ridge on the porch at Ridge Family Dentistry on Saturday Sept 20 at 5:30pm!
